  1. Hehe I totally know what you mean. Praying is hard >_<;; and yeah you’re right it shouldnt become a habit, like “Thanks God for giving me this food”. And prayer to God is like talking to a friend, it should come naturally! As our relationship with him gets stronger, it’s easier to pray. I am currently having problems like focusing on God too though >_<;;…so I guess what we should both pray for is that God will speak to us if we earnestly seek him out?As for praying in public, yeah I really hate that :/ like in a group I’m all like PFFT I’M TALKING TO GOD T_T;; why does everyone else have to listen!! XD. But like…sometimes group prayer will help others realise what they want to say, and also  it says in the bible that when 2/3 or more people are gathered in his name his presence will be there? It also helps us grow together as a church, so we should both practice praying in public. But like…there’s certain things to pray about of course…like the growth of the church, maybe certain brother/sisters? Obviously it won’t be like…”Dear God, >_<;; I have not been close to you recently, I pray that you will forgive ________ and _______ that I have done…” hahaha cos that’s not really relevant to everyone else right?Iuno, did that make sense? ^^;;.

  3. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – I haven’t read the whole bible yet (._.);;. I got through the new testament last year, but like…my spiritual fire kinda died down after a series of events >_<;; and I haven’t picked it back up. It’s not that hard reading through the whole thing though 🙂 wana do it together? It’s easier when doing it alongside someone :). How bouts…we start like…at the new year at Matthew Ch1 and read a chapter a day? That’s not too much right, like…10 mins max?

  5. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – Mmm, we kinda just follow the bible really, not a special branch just followers of Christ to the best we can :)! I find it really hard to keep up my spiritual fire though >_<;;…lots of distractions and problems and burdens D:. Really need to seek!!!

  7. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – mmm well we reckon it’s the right way to serve Christ and be a Christian! I mean, Catholics have a lot of things made up >_<;; that have nothing to do or even go against the bible! Like, Catholics pray to the saints and Mary…when…well..they’re dead and really can’t help you. It could even be seen as idol worshipping! I mean, the only person we should pray to is God. Also…there’s no such thing as purgatory or last rites in the bible, it’s just made up by people :/ so it’s false…there is no basis in the bible!

  9. @whoosh90 – i know! and i don’t like how they have to confess to a priest. what’s the use of god? and then once we were taught that we only confess our cardinal sins [lust, envy, blah2] and we were like, WTF? A SIN IS A FREAKIN SIN!!and also when you ask most catholics about religion they’ll just say, “i don’t know. that’s what was taught to us and we don’t really ask questions.” how can you not ask? you’re not robots!

  11. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – Yeah I know! When Jesus was crucified, like that curtain separating the holy of holies from people. Hmm I’ll look it up I don’t know it off the top of my head.”The curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.”Back then in the Temple they would have a curtain that separated theHoly of Holies from the rest of the temple. This was where the Ark ofthe Covenant had rested, and was considered to be the place where Godresided. Only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies – andGod’s presence – once a year. So, normal people couldn’t see God.The curtain being torn in two shows that God has crossed therift. With the death of Jesus the sin that separated man and God hasbeen bridged, so we could communicate directly with God, without passing through a priest or anything…so confessing your sins to a priest is like…:/ whut.Mmm hmm also yeah you’re right, every sin is a sin!! However small it is!! That’s why we can’t be saved through ourselves but only by believing in Christ.Hahaha as for the last bit, some things you can ask me and I really won’t know ^^;;. But I’d look in the bible and see like…what it says about it 🙂 cos that’s our guide! Not other people, but the bible itself. Then again there are some cases where we just have to accept that we can’t understand something, but we have to have faith in God that he is real and providing the best for us. I guess that could be seen as robotic, but I think it’s when you have a relationship with someone that you know them really well, things that you don’t understand won’t trouble you :). He is real after all, not just a set of theories right? ^^

Cos it’s not just a book, it’s God’s word which is real :)!Hehe it’s ok ^^ :3. Hmm, when we read through the new testament it’ll be repeated like 4 times when we go through the gospels hahaha I’m sure you’ll remember it then!! :3. Found your bible yet?

  17. @whoosh90 – nope. i forgot about that, you know how people were drinking here? well everyone got drunk and we talked about politics and mostly religion. i brought up this story and everyone was like… oh yeaaah. ok that makes sense! so thanks for telling me that story.i actually talked to my mom about religion this morning. it was… ok. she’s not one sided.

  19. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – Find your bible before new year! X3.Hahaha that is such a funny topic to talk about while drunk! Guess it’s good that you talked about it though? Even if you were all drunk…>_>;; which is a weird situation for Christian conversation but ok? Hahaha!Oh right, what’d you talk about with your mom?

  21. @whoosh90 – yeah, i know but the next day everyone was texting me saying that we had  a madd conversation that night and that they would want to talk about it again. :))i told her my view on religion. like i do believe in god, i pray to him but i’m not like other people who follow the bible as much and believe in everything. and she said that she’s like that too. which is why she doesn’t talk to us about religion as much. she basically instills good values and makes us god fearing. idk if that makes sense to you but it works perfectly for me

  23. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – Hahaha ohh that’s cool then ^_^!! We talk about God too rarely anyways for how important he is.I know what you mean :). But that’s like the definition of a Christian who is only a Christian on the service. I mean, it may be good for short term, but in the bible it says that Christians should “bear fruit” and take up their burden to serve Christ. I mean, he died for us, so we should want to give the whole of our lives to him, it’s not about just ‘being good’, but because Christ lives in us we should live out his life and ‘bear fruit’.That’s stuff like…well…really committing ourselves to him from our heart, not just being good on the outside, as God looks at what is inside of us not what is outside. But…totally commiting ourselves to him is really really really hard >_<;; cos we still like ourselves. I always SAY I will live for him, but after a while I will die down again D:. Sure isn’t an easy path following God ^^;;. Did that make sense?

  25. @whoosh90 – yeah, it does make sense. i used to believe so much in that kind stuff but it’s kinda died for me now. like, i don’t know really. it gets hard. i’m kinda like… just floating around right now waiting for something to hit me.

  26. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – Yeah I know how you feel. It’s like I know God’s real, but on the other hand I don’t really want to completely fully commit myself to him. I’m kinda sat on the fence I guess cos I can’t make myself totally placed into him, but I can’t just throw him away :/. I’m just trying to find him again, so I guess “Seek and you shall find” applies to me…I really really need to seek him out.

  28. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA –  Is there anything wrong with it? I guess sometimes youth bibles are too simplified and meanings are lost, you can always buy another one if you wanna reference? New King James version is quite nice ^^. I use NIV though :).

  30. @Aa_bEbE_pHaT_aA – ^_^ awesomes! Well…cos new testament is in some ways easier to understand and more important than old, old testament is much easier to understand once you have new testament knowledge to relate it to, otherwise it just seems really weird XP.
