Fuzion Gourmet: A Thousand Tastes In One Place

They say that some food requires an acquired taste and that most Filipinos have a specific (cough, cough sweet) preference when it comes to food.  So what do you with a restaurant that “keeps the sugar out of the kitchen and inside the bar?”

You embrace it, of course. Which is exactly what I’ve done with Fuzion Gourmet, I’ve wrapped my arms around it and prepared myself for the ultimate Thousand Tastes In One Place experience!

In all honestly, Fuzion Gourmet, for me, requires an acquired taste. It’s not the typical tamis that a lot of Filipinos know and love but that doesn’t mean it’s anything short of a gastronomical experience.

Owned by Ms. Divina Veloso- Couvreux, an in demand gourmet consultant, she has made sure to it that dining at Fuzion Gourmet not only tastes like you’re actually in France but you even feel like you’re there, too.

Located at the ground floor of the Mango Square Mall, this quaint haven is cozy, intimate and entertaining all at the same time. From the little nooks and corners, individually designed tables, the intricately designed chairs, even their ceiling! Not to mention the entire romantic ambiance… being there makes you want to bottle up those happy thoughts and save them for a rainy day.

And not only to they house different platters but they also offer a wide selection of cold cuts and assorted cheese that you can take home and turn into your own wonderful creations.

Thanks to a generous gift card we were all given during the media launch, I always able to go back to Fuzion Gourmet with a couple of my friends for an all out Fuzion party.

Paolo, who’s already been to France, agrees that the taste is indeed authentic but whether it’s his cup of tea or not may be a different story. Most of my friends enjoyed it but agreed on it being on the blander side.
