It’s Gonna Be A Bright Sun-Shiny Day

I always told myself that I wouldn’t be one for trends (as I’ve said OVER and OVER again) but lately I’m finding myself to be the complete opposite of that.
Look at me, I’ve been in origami skirts, cropped tops and now a pink  cut out dress!
But who am I trying to kid? I’m a complete sell out and there’s nothing wrong with that. What’s wrong was me trying to live my life thinking I could have my own style that was completely different from what was “trending”. Maybe some other time but now if definitely not that time.
This years’ fashion has been to-die-for.

And maybe I am a tad bit too late for this floral headdress, cut out and pastel ensemble but who cares, I love it anyways. (BABY STEPS IS WHAT I’M CALLING IT)

In style, trending, being relevant aside, this piece to me, is timeless, classic and something I will never regret keeping in my closet. It’s perfect for mid afternoon dates at romantic dessert places, semi formal occasions and even for those lazy days when you feel like you need to be all glammed up!

Good Girl? Bad Girl?

There comes a time when you just can’t figure out what to wear. For me, this happens almost every day.

So what do you do when you can’t decide? Simple. You switch in between! (Or at least that’s what I did!)

It was really a challenge of deciding if I wanted to sweat my feet in my combat boots or kill my feet in heels but I was determined to pull off both looks so I decided to wear the combat boots during the day and my new wedges at night. TADA!

BAD GIRL?

White V-neck shirt: Blue Camp| Origami shorts: Alla Moda Thrift Store| Leather Cap: :)| Watch: iWatchz| Combat boots: SM Department store

Good Girl?

Retro Sunnies (in white): Forever21| Nude wedges: Greenhills| Silver necklace: Vintage

So.. Am I a bad girl or good girl?

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Work Does Not Start On Monday

I know everyone’s probably sick and tired of me wearing this blazer over and over again but I really do love it!

A million thanks again to Laundry Clothing!

[Silk top: Thrifted| Shorts: Thrifted| Shoes: Given| Feather earing: Aizilym]

Had a quick shoot in my room a couple of weeks ago when I didn’t feel like going outside to have my outfit shots taken. I’m glad I made that random decision because these are my favorite photos to date 🙂

Oh, I’m semi unemployed again! Who wants to hire me?

Dog Days

I guess I will always the girl who cannot depart from her staple white v-neck shirts. I probably have 6 in my closet and I’m always finding myself wearing them on days that I just feel completely out of it.

Honestly, nobody can go wrong with them. They’re comfortable and stylish and anyone can easily go 30 days straight wearing them. Believe me, I’ve done it 😉

Lucky for me, I have these awesome boots from the SM Department store and these cool printed leggings from the Robinsons Department Store to make my look more interesting. If the world never had quirky clothes like this, I don’t know how I would ever be able to express myself!

I’m not wearing make up in this picture. Thanks why I won’t look at you

Today

Today I lost my job. In retrospect, I was “let go” and to saveface, it was a mutual agreement. Honestly? It’s a horrible feeling, really. It’s the first time that I’ve ever really failed at anything and I’m not used to that.

I know it should be humbling. It should be ok because I tried my best.

But just let me sulk for a bit, ok? I need to think of a backup plan to fund my Trip to someplace awesome where I can feel alive and those 23 pairs of shoes I wanted so bad.

Today is meh

Rest.In.Peace

I honestly think that the best thing I ever did fashion-wise was invest on blazers from Laundry Clothing

They’ve really helped me put a lot of my looks together and they’re super comfortable, too. I’m totally loving them and I don’t even care if my recent posts have been of me in a blazer. lol

[Leather hat: a CFB’s favorite secret shopping haven. If you ask nicely, I’ll tell! hehe| Folded racerback: Old| Origami skirt: Alla Moda Thrift Shop| Blazer: Laundry Clothing| Gold flats: Ayala Department Store]

I’ll be honest, my style is pretty boring. I like to keep it old (grandma old) and simple. I don’t like color that much and my default bottoms color schemes have and always will be shades of black and white.

But this look… is trends personified! I’ve got a leather cap on, an origami skirt and I’ve even attempted the whole cropped top look. Of course, Paolo would skin me alive if I actually got one so I decided to play around with what I currently had (an old racerback) and folded it instead. If I come out of this alive, I will probably buy myself a decent one.

It made a lot of sense for me to wear black today because I’ve been struggling with my triathlon training (I’m riding my bike for Sugbo Tri’s Hunat Sugbo Triathlon this October 6) and the fact that I can only make it half way through my uphill course training is making me sad. Thus, black is the current emotion of the day.

What do you think of my look?
